MILAN HAUL | LOOKBOOK
CLOTHING
Embroidered Mesh Top - ZARA - £9.99
One of the first things I found when looking for clothes for Milan was this gorgeous mesh, embroidered, blush pink top. I'd been looking around for the perfect one for quite a while as I thought it was a good way to cover up but also to keep cool whilst I was away.
This was my outfit for shopping which I paired with my tie up Zara sandals (To come later) and my denim skirt whilst away but now I'm home, I paired it with my new Calvin Klein belt too!
'Blurred' Worn T-Shirt - TOPSHOP - £7.00
This was another pre-holiday find in the sales. I wasn't really looking for a new t-shirt, but as per usual, TopShop won me over with another cheap find!
This top was originally £26, knocked down to £7 and when I last saw, they had barely any left - not surprising. It features a beautiful cool tones floral print with an 'inside out' effect with extra seams around the sleeves and a ripped, choker style neck line.
I wore this along with my bow plimsoles and jeans with my leather jacket for the journey to Milan before realising it was absolutely boiling and I had to change... Typical. However, I still LOVE this top non the less.
Peplum Cotton Top - ZARA - £9.99
Next is my favourite find from the pre-holiday haul - a white, cotton, peplum top from Zara which was an absolute bargain at only £9.99.
It goes with almost everything, skirts both plain and patterned, jeans, trousers, formal and casual! Its just an all-round amazing top, and perfect for the heat and shopping combined.
Mustard Logo Top - TOMMY HILFIGER - £9.99
This was one of my first purchases in Milan from Tommy Hilfiger - How could I resist? The shop was outside the hotel!
Again, Ive been looking for a nice mustard coloured top for a while and was after a logo tee whilst I was here, so this, paired with the fact that it was only £20, this was an unquestionable buy.
Wrap Floral Blouse - TK MAXX - £13.99
The last thing that I bought for the holiday was this wrap floral top from TKMAXX, they have so many different versions of this top, I might go back and get some more when I go next.
I love it because its really good quality and figure flattering too, the only thing is that I had to put a little safety pin in otherwise the cut was a little too low. As you can see from the picture, however, I love wearing this top, its so nice and floaty!

ACCESSORIES - Shoes, Bags and Purses!
Pink Suede Bow Plimsoles - RIVER ISLAND - £14.00 | Tie Up Espadrilles - ZARA - £19.99
So these two pairs of shoes were part of my pre-milan haul. I got these plimsoles out of the kids section in River Island (No Shame) and they were only £14! They do up to a size 3 in the kids section, as do many other places, which meant they were more confutable and more affordable which is as added bonus. I think they look perfect with absolutely anything: a dress, skirt or jeans and I found them perfect for the journey on the plane as they were east to slip on and off.
I wore these Zara espadrilles on our day shopping around milan. They were only £19.99 in the sale and were in a size three (which isn't a size I can normally find in Zara so I was very happy), I thought they were great as I knew there was a chance they would get took on or something whilst walking around but because they're fabric around the toe, they're easy enough to wipe clean again! I also love the fact that these are a pointed toe which gives them more of a sophisticated look.
Zip-Up Leather Old Skools - VANS - £75.00
I have to admit, these trainers were the epitome of an impulse buy whilst I'm Milan. After telling myself I wasn't buying anything else and then we spotted the Vans store. These shoes stood out to me for a few reasons. The thing that caught my eye at first was the gorgeous red colour, I think it's absolutely gorgeous! This along with the fact that I'd been looking for a pair of leather old skools for a while and that they were in the sale made them as good as sold to me.

Plaque Logo Belt - CALVIN KLEIN - £49.99
Something I was after whilst in Milan was a new belt. Im sick of buying cheap belts and having to replace them every 3 months because they break at the back so I thought it was time to bite the bullet and invest in a more high end one. At first I was after one to match my new purse, however, when walking around I saw so many people wearing the one I was after which kind of put me off. therefore, I got my hands on this Calvin Klein belt in the sale! I love it! I was going for the more nude belt with a rose gold logo, however, I thought I might not get as much use out of it and to top it off, they only had large left. I'm thankful tho because otherwise I wouldn't have found this gem.
Blush Coin Purse - GUCCI - £240.00
Now this was a guilty spend and I do feel like I spent waaaaayyyyy too much money... but I don't care because it's gorgeous!!!!!! I am absolutely in LOVE with this Gucci purse! its so cute and perfect. Its in a very subtle blush pink with the two gold 'G's on the front. Inside, it has a place for notes, coins and 6 card spaces which can easily fit 2 in each if needs be. Im so excited to use it and its perfect because it goes with the inside of my Vivienne Westwood bag perfectly.
Mustard Shoulder Bag - TOMMY HILFIGER - £129.99
My final purchase of the holiday, besides LOADS of delicious food, was this gorgeous mustard shoulder bag from Tommy Hilfiger, which coincidentally matches the top I bought on the first day. It has a brilliant fastening on the front where the 'T' twists to join the 'H' for opening, similar to some Louis Vuitton purses. I was going back and forth between this model and a black, however, I felt that the mustard was a better choice as I already have a black handbag and this would add some much needed colour into my wardrobe.
