DRESSANTOS | SUMMER WEDDINGS

As summer approaches... supposedly... so do more and more summer weddings. Personally, I love summer weddings, the trees and flowers are out and everything just looks so colourful and pretty. Now, a summer wedding outfit is a little trickier to buy than a winter one as you don't want to be too hot but you also don't want to look too casual. Therefore, I have picked out six different outfits, two playsuits, and four dresses, from dressantos' website to help you out!...

CLARISSA NAVY BLUE FLORAL PRINT CHIFFON PLAYSUIT - £15.00

This navy and floral playsuit would be a perfect item to wear as it is not only classy and semi-formal but it also embraces the summer atmosphere and weather (hopefully). This navy blue playsuit features a classy but appropriate plunge neckline which is perfect for a formal but family event. It shows off the figure with the waistband as well as giving you room to move and feel comfortable. It also has a beautiful crossed strap back which adds an extra feature to catch the eye.

FLAVIA PRINT PLAYSUIT - £20.00

This playsuit is slightly less formal in comparison to the first. This would be perfect for an after party or a potentially more informal wedding. It has the same feature crossed straps, however, this playsuit features a spaghetti strap which brings the slightly more informal tone. In addition to this, the high neck fit of the playsuit also brings a little more class which makes it a little more suitable for younger ages or more of a family event. The slightly baggy fit also makes it perfect for a long event in the height of summer. I would personally put this together with a shoe that isn't too formal, but still a heel, perhaps a chunky wedge would look flattering.

ARABELLA BLUSH PINK DOUBLE LAYER DRESS WITH DIAMOND MESH WAIST - £35.00

This dress is a lot more formal in comparison to the playsuits and would be perfect for not only a summer wedding but any slightly more formal occasion. The use of the two sections with the diamond mesh as separation draws the eyes to the waist area, creating an all over beautiful figure, in particular, the loose fitting top creates the impression of a smaller waist. This is such a simplistic and elegant dress and the pastel, rose pink is absolutely perfect for the summer season. I would personally pair this with some strappy heels, potentially in a matching blush colour or a white.

LANA NUDE/ORANGE DEEP PLUNGE DRESS WITH DRAPED BACK - £35.00

This beautiful dress comes in both nude and orange, both perfect for the summer months. The fit is figure hugging and emphasising which makes for a very minimal effort, stunning look. For a wedding, I think a simplistic style is the best way forward, however, this dress does everything it would need to whilst also keeping the minimal state. The waistband, again, draws the eyes to the centre of the body and  creates the impression of an hourglass figure. In addition to this, the deep plunge neckline shows both a mature and classy look. Although the front shows a very simplistic and minimal approach, the back shows a razor back with draping detail - which I love! And for only £35, this dress really is value for money! I think this outfit would be perfect with some strappy heels in any colour.

JULIETTE NUDE BODYCON PANNEL DRESS - £35.00

Now, this dress has to be one of my all time favourites from dressantos and I would love to own it myself. It has two beautifully fitting and simplistic panels which make up the dress in a white and a pink nude. The diamond shape of the top panel really brings an amazing shape to the dress and along with the high neck, creates a beautiful, figure-hugging bodycon. I also love the cut outs on the side that are created by using this diamond shape as it brings a slight maturity to the dress, a little difference to many bodycon dresses. Again, I would couple this with very minimal silver jewellery and strappy heels in white. But really, one of my favourites right here, especially for an occasion such as a summer wedding!

DELILAH MINT LACE PARTY DRESS - £40.00

And last but not least is this beautiful mint green bodycon dress. It has a subtle v neckline which creates an elegant look along with, once again, the crossed cami straps. This dress is a little less 'out there' and unusual aas compared to the others and this is why I chose it. This dress would be perfect for young to older teens (possiblt 14-19). It's very elegant and beautiful, however, a less revealing and mature as the others. I really love this dress and it's something you can wear time and time again, perfect for any dressing-up event like a summer wedding, a party or an evening meal, so a perrfect buy, especially at only £40! This dress would literally go with anything in the same clour group: heels, flats, wedges, any wrap or cardigan and any jewellery which is what makes it such a great dress for a perfect summer wedding outfit!
