Arbonne | Purifying Cleaner & Toner and Oil Absorbing Day Lotion

The first two, of the many products from Arbonne that I will be testing, were two products from the companies FC5 range; the purifying cleanser & toner and the oil absorbing day lotion, both of which I have been using since Friday evening. 

The purifying cleanser & toner is a facial wash that you apply and massage in with your fingers and rinse with warm water and I did this twice a day for the duration between Friday night and Monday night (seven uses). I thought this product was brilliant! It left my skin feeling refreshed and a lot less oily from a day at sixth form or a sleep. Although the product is designed to make away the oiliness, some products like this tend to take away too much moisture, this product still leaves your skin feeling soft and healthy therefore it is not taking away all the natural moisture that your skin needs to not dry out.

The product to buy from Arbonne is £21.00 (not including shipping). I think this is quite reasonable as the product is a decent size, being 118ml. From using the product for several washes, I did not use much as it is not required.

In conjunction with the purifying cleanser & toner, I also used the oil absorbing day lotion. When using this product, I applied two small pumps to my fingers and applied to the face. However, after the first application, I found that it was a little too harsh for my skin. Personally, I have extremely sensitive skin so most moisturisers or face creams tend to leave my face quite red for a while and this one did. For me, this product really did work tho, it left my skin feeling similar to the first product, in that it felt oil free but not too dry it was just a let down that my skin reacted to it.

This product is £33.00 to buy, so slightly more expensive but again, completely worth the price. The product also includes sun protection which is an added bonus that most day lotions do not include. It comes in a 50ml bottle however, again, this would last a long time due to the little amount that you will need and only once a day.
